Question 2k2 turbo s spoiler sticking ?

I am having some issues tring to figure out what is causing the spoiler to get stuck in the up position. I just lubed the track with some lithum grease. but I see nothing causing it to get stuck. It isn't all the time. when I manually raise and lower the spoiler. going up is like butta, but when I lower it. it will move, stick, move, stick, move, stick, and completely close ...very weard ! Have any of you all had a issue like this ? I have searched ,and I couldn't find anything talking abut my problem. there is no cell lights on for the spoiler having a problem. so it as me woundering if there is something I am over looking. thanks for your help and info in advance.

chris

It moves down slowly when the car is at idle to prevent pinched fingers. Closing, stopping, closing, stopping, until it is finally closed.

If you have lubed it up, raise and lower it several times to get things moving smoothly. Mabey someone here can post lube points for the spoiler...

That is correct ... that is how it comes down when at a stop or slow speed ... I am not sure how it comes down when driving at highway speeds ... one day some of us will have to get to driving together for the express purpose of viewing them lower at the near 90 speed.

Yup, that's by design. No amount of lubing will correct it.

At normal highway speeds, it goes down in one motion. I believe anywhere below 10mph, it will due the multi-step approach.

that would be nice. but before this started the other day. the spoiler would go up, and down the same way.(speed wise) only at idle it does the close, stop, close, stop, close...
