Default Under Boost

So i just got back from a Deployment.. The bug hasnt ran in about 2 months and this morning i started her up and took off to work.. i have about a 20 min. drive. Anyways i noticed under boost that it kinda of studders.. not hard but i notice some slight hesitation while boosting. small but its noticeable. anyone think of what this would be. my wife drives it most of the time and she is almost never in any kind of boost. But me on the other hand loves to hear that little baby spin..
Any help would be great.

Thanks

John

1 morning after not running for 2 mos. (sounds like your wife doesn't drive it at all; much less under load) ... Give it a week to smooth out. Maybe some fuel injector cleaner treatment.

Give it a minute to adjust y'know? It's possible there's a misfire or something; but after not turning over for 2 mos; that's not really earth shaking news. Use it, run it; let it adjust to being used again.

aka. Take 1 fuel injector cleaner and call me back in 2 wks.

What type of cleaner should i buy.. i have always been told that its pretty much wasting your money away using the ones that you put in your tank.. i was always told that the only way to have your injectors cleaned properly was to have it done profesionaly.

Thanks

John

Maybe so; but a little solvant doesn't hurt much either we should hope.

I used chevron techron. You use whatever feels okay for you. I pick this one cause i stick w/their fuel and figure 'more of a good thing'.

I figure it's a mild detergent/solvant, and doesn't hurt every once in a while.

I understand that logic... if you want your house clean, get out there w/a brush and scrub. If you don't care so much, spray it w/a hose instead. One deffinately does a more thorough job than the other... but the hose brushed off SOME stuff, didn't it?

This is just from my experience btw; I dunno if they work; they just seem to work for me.

Could also be the fuel ... if it is not very fresh it could have degraded in that time, best to store the car with very little fuel in the tank so you can get a fresh tank when you start driving it again.
