NB 1.8 T 180hp...Possible????
Hello all.
I discovered that my NB has 180hp, not 150hp. But it has not the Turbo S look!! Not even 6 gears... Speedometer to 260km/h VIN: WVWZZZ9CZ1M646835 http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n...g?t=1166781643 Last edited by PacoBofarull; 12-22-2006 at 09:21 AM..

the car looks like it's not from NA, so it could be some european thing, but I'm not sure.
What is the engine code? Take off your engine cover and look for the 3 letters stamped onto the top of the engine block on the left side.

If you have a VAGCOM get the car scanned because chances are you have an aftermarket chip or you got lucky and someone either bought a factory chip or at the factory they decided to give you free chipping
 150HP stock 1.8Ts can do 180HP with just a simple software upgrade, ie chipping or flashing.

Like every other car in Europe it has more horsepower, the one's shipped to emissions regulated country like U.S. get detuned
