Default turbo S BIG PROBLEM

so i did the apr 93 tune. and now my car is over heating big time. and im getting low oil pressure light and everything. im about to seriously get rid of the dang thing.

change your oil. look to see if it looks like a milkshake. what color is the coolant in the resivoir, and how much is there?

oil is good.

coolant seemed to have leaked?
i filled up the res. still no dice.

Find the leak. Could be just a hose, or the rad, or could be the water pump.

i bought a new thermostat hopefully that might fix it.. ill try to find a leak when i get the chance.. hopefully its not the rad. or the water pump.

R u getting a temp light and is the coolant boiling? If so, my money is on the water pump.

yes my temp light is blinking and the coolant was definately boiling.

would it be worth it to try to warranty the part out or just buy the part?

Pretty sure ur already out of warranty. What u want is the metal impeller water pump, not the plastic impeller OEM pump.

we got a extended warranty with the car. so that part might be under warranty

does anybody know the part number for that water pump?

the OEM ones are metal now as well.

just go ahead and do a full timing belt replacement, better safe than sorry.

a TB job shouldn't cost any more than the APR tuning, and the kits usually run under 200.
