then what's 1 more?

You COULD always just go to a high-flow cat.

Racing doesn't HAVE to be bad for the environment.

You can try a rear O2 sensor spacer. Make your own like here: http://www.scoobymods.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5468

or go onto vwvortex.com and buy the one that "Wayne92slc" makes and sells. I bought his after my self-made one stopped doing its job. The one Wayne makes is 100% stainless steel and is well worth the money (about $30).

Factory VW cats are ridiculously expensive but aftermarket high flow cats like the ones from Techtonics Tuning, they are not expensive in my opinion.

I went to a 3" universal Magna-flow CAT w/ rear O2 bung built in. It was $50 and I had a muffler shop weld on the ends to bolt right in where the test-pipe was... for like $20. Of course this is from a 3" downpipe to a 2.5" Techtonics cat-back.
