pics from cheap FMIC install
Heres some pics from my Ebay 28x9x2.75" 2.5" I/O and 2.25" piping install. My rad support is a little tweaked rearward so this intercooler fit between it and the rebar support ok.
I re-used my stock outlet piping , but not the pancake pipe. I stuck the BOV that came with the piping kit on the hot side, outside the bumper. It sticks out a little. It actually works well and with the flange I can replace it with a Greddyif i wanted to. I left my original DV in place and just wanted the outter one to open under heavy boost. I also drilled the three holes one .700" and two 1/4" tapped, for the Charge pressure sensor into the cool side tank and made up a wiring extension. All done in about 6 hours. I'm using rubber on the outlet of the IC now and will replace it with Silicone in a few days. I'm going to build some nicer brackets to mount the core. The plumbers tape was all i had at the time. I'd reccomend and wish I had gotten a smaller core now. Like a 28x5.5x2.5". I waste about 3 inches thats hidden behind my rebar support. The IC was $100 shipped and I would have only spent another $100 on piping/bov If I had known exactly what I had needed ahead of time.
