Default Removal of Intercooler Plastic Shielding/Shroud

I've got a 2002 1.8T and need to gain access to the passenger fog light, and front grill area. However, the intercooler plastic shielding/shroud is in my way, and I can't figure out how to remove it?
Anyone know?
Rudy

Thanks, but this approach won't work for me, as I have the Caractere front valance which is glued on. SO I HAVE to gain access from the back. I'm close, just the passeneger fog that I can't get at because of the intercooler housing/shield/shroud. SO I need to get that off.

Is pulling the intercooler easy to do? Any tips or suggestions?
