Here in MD the choices are generally 87?, 89, or 93 octane. I know that VW recommends 91. Lately my engine has needed to crank a little more before starting up and I'm wondering if it's because I use 93. the previous owners only used regular (which i think is 87 or 85, can't remember).
It's a 2001 GLX Turbo TIA! |

Premium.
Sure, it can run on regular but in the end you're not really saving anything, decreased efficiency and whatnot. |
