Warning Lights Tower of Babel

Three lights just came up, but my manual is in Spanish and I'm having some trouble figuring out what they mean:

ABS
Anti Skid
>>> Electric Immobilizer <<<

The ABS and Anti Skid I can figure out, but what in heck is an "Electric Immobilizer"? (looks like a NB with a key in the wheels)

The Electric Immobilizer means the car is not seeing the key correctly. The key may need to be re-coded to the car.

So what does it do? So far I was able to drive two miles to my drive way. Will the car freeze up on the way to the mechanic?

I just went and started the "Cucaracha" again and this time no lights came up. She purrs like a sweetheart as if nothing ever happened

So what could have caused her lights to come on?

BTW I forgot to thank NBTurboFreak for the post earlier, I get nervous when those darn lights come on!
