Default Mass Air Flow Sensor

I just have a question my Mass Air Flow Sensor did not have the temperature. what is it use for b/c i dont know how many km i drove without it.
cel was not showing no errors .
i just went and got a new one the car drive the same.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean, but the mass airflow sensor measures the amount of air being 'sucked' into the engine. There is a hot wire internally and the car's computer measures how much current it takes to maintain a fixed temperature on the wire. The more air across it, the more current needed to keep it hot.

You really need to scan the car while it's running to monitor the feedback from the MAF to see if it's reading right. You don't see the temperature, so that's what's confusing me. You have an intake air temperature sensor and possibly and outside air temperature sensor. Which one are you having issues with?

yup that hot wire i didnt had that wire and the car drive ok
and didnt have any cel on it

Wow - I wonder where it ended up? That's pretty odd - I'd like to know how it never caused a check engine light. Any custom chip tuning done on that thing?

i dont know where it went or why the cel didnt go on

but i had it chip
and i know that the cel works
