Um.... Just a guess, but I would say it's the BOV and intake system.

So remove your new BOV and put the stock DV back in. Let me know how that works out after a week.

what bov do you have most people here recomend the 007. its a diverter not a bov you need to push extra air into the intake system rather then releasing it into the air. the 007 allows you to do both and its adjustable

Questions:

1. Which Valve did you put in?

2. Did you set it up the way the stock valve was or is it blowing off into the atmosphere?

3. Which intake system are you using?

To be completely honest with you, I bought the parts on Ebay lol. The valve I installed is recirculating, not atmospheric. The intake is custom.

Hmmmm, well, in order to try and help you with this it could be very useful if you can post some clear pictures of the valve and intake system showing exactly how everything is routed and setup.

It is possible that you have an air leak somewhere or something is either malfunctioning etc.

Ill get those pictures for you as soon as possible. In the meantime, I took some break cleaner and sprayed it on all my vac hoses and she didnt shut off, so I dont think their is an air leak anywhere. Right now its dark outside so the pictures wont come out very well, but first thing tomorrow ill take some pics and post them up.

OK cool.

FYI: Brake cleaner is not a good thing to use as it is not sensor safe, if you like using sprays for this purpose then I would recommend CRC's MAF sensor cleaner, it will produce the same results but will not harm any engine sensors.

Propane is a more efficient non-messy way to find vacuum leaks, being a gas it is much lighter than fluids and is drawn into the engine leak just like air and will change the engine speed as well as the reading on a wideband A/F ratio gauge if your car is so equipped.

I recently found a couple of injector cup leaks with propane which spray fluids did not reveal, air was being sucked and pushed up/down the threads where the cups screw into the intake manifold causing surging under boost along with an unstable idle and the following DTC's:

1. P0507 (Idle control system RPM higher than expected).
2. Probably >> P0333 (Knock sensor 2 signal too high) on rare occasion.

I removed the cups in question, cleaned all related areas and resealed the threads with Permatex Moto Seal 1, no more surging under boost, steady idle is back, no DTC's and a serious increase in engine power/response.

Well to be honest, Im getting really annoyed with this constant limp mode. Tomorrow I will be swapping out the recirculating for the stock one to see how that works. Most likely its probably something really stupid and its right under my nose. Thats usually my luck lol. But I will definately keep you guys informed on what happens tomorrow. And I didnt forget about your pictures either lol

Well here is some good news on my quest to get rid of limp mode. I replaced my valve with the stock one, and I got my boost back in spurts. She'll run fine for a while, then switch to limp mode all of a sudden. Not to mention the fact that I have a code reading "Secondary Air Injection Pump Manfunction" and one that reads "Fuel too Lean". Im not sure what the code numbers are but I will find out tomorrow. Please advise!!
