Exclamation blue temperature light

Lately my blue light has been coming on while Im driving. My car is warmed up and I could be driving for well over a half hour. It doesnt blink real fast or anything. But It'll stay on for maybe 20 secs. or so. And it does it sporatically. Wondering if anyone else has/had this problem and what causes it? Is it a faulty sensor? Or a bigger problem??

Coolant Tempature Sensor has likely failed or is failing. If no Check Engine, expect one soon. If it's not the temp sensor (green top = old and known bad, black = new) then you may have a coolant leak, or could just be low!

My old bad temp sensor was black and my new one is green. Could you possibly have that backwards?

Same thing happened to me during the summer. Light started flashing blue and then I got the cel. It was the temp sensor. No biggie.
