parking brake light is on

light is on and has a beeping as well only when moving. all switches check out including fluid level replaced dtrl relay and still have the problem has any one sen this before? seems to be a wiring issue. 2001 beetle do these madels have a ton of electrical issues?

most likely to be the sensor on your left front rotor/brakes.... check that one

It's most likely the switch for the parking brake, found inside the center console under the handbrake handle.

IIRC, that one doesn't beep. That's the brake wear sensor.
