Default How to remove window carrier when glass is down ???

My window regulator failed when the glass was all the way down. I have all the torx screws removed from the carrier and it is pried away from the door. I can see how you're supposed remove the glass using the 2 access holes with the window rolled slightly down. But with the window all the way down it seems a catch 22 - can't remove the carrier with the glass attached & can't push the glass up from the bottom b/c I can't pull the carrier far enough from the car.

Thanks

OK when I removed the regulator motor a ball of wire was wrapped around the rotating gear, so I figured the carrier plate was toast. I drilled out the four rivets holding the window slides to the carrier and it then was pretty easy to remove the glass.

Now the only thing stopping the carrier coming free is the harness connection to the door lock. Anyone have a good way to separate that connector without removing the lock?
