Exclamation Engine rattle

I have an engine rattle that goes away when you give it more gas.
It comes back at low speeds or when coasting at low speeds. It also does not do it until it warms up. Any ideas?

It is somewhat difficult to diagnose "sounds" via text, perhaps posting a You Tube recording?

I think I have the same thing. It doesn't change with rpm speed but stays the same frequency. I have learned to ignore it because I think it is an emissions valve which oscillates at different times. I've heard other posters complain about it and it seems to be normal. I also use to hear it on my Jeep and found it to be emissions related.

Could be anything but if it feels like a "thud" in the engine bay and giving it gas makes it go away a little, could be a timing belt tensioner. Had that happen. Solid knock at idle. You will know if you have that sound. But could be many things.
