Question Clicking from stereo/cd

I have a 2000 1.8 T. When I start the car if the stereo/CD is on it makes a clicking noise for a couple of seconds. If I turn it off and back on it makes the noise when turned on? Anyone else have this issue?. I just started a couple of weeks ago.

Drea,

I just found your topic from June 7th 2010. Are you still having the clicking problems? Have you replaced the battery shortly before it started? Or notice that the Radio/CD would display something like "Safe mode" on the display? Does the clicking start immediately when you turn the key to the accessories and does it cease once you put on the turn signal(s)?

Question

First & last post, and first & last visit by that Poster. Don't look for a quick reply! The clicking is the CD player cycling for some reason. I have a link for a place that does repairs via eBay if your having a problem and need it. If you have electronics responding to your turn signal indicator switch you have wiring issues.
