electrical issue??
Yesterday I posted about my car battery being dead. I planned on driving it to the shop today to be replaced as i know once the water levels are down in the batter and need to be refilled the battery prob wont last long
Anyway... i had to have a jump start at lunch to drive my car to the shop but a funny thing happens. the car seems to almost skip a gear and shift back in hard. When i pulled away from a stop light first shift is smooth. the second shift almost misses and reves around 2.5-3 rpms then jumps into gear hard. Could this be due to a falty battery? I had a friend tow my car back to the house with his durrange 6 miles from where it wouldnt start when it first wouldnt start 3 days ago.

indeed. now it's shifting somewhat better still a little bit rough but not like it was.
