Does no one know the part number for the hose that goes from diverter valve across the back of the engine and hooks to the turbo?
Thanks
Randy

Hi Randy - Assuming you are talking about the 1" diameter hose. It actually connects to the metal charge tube and not the turbo.

I'll have an answer for you in the morning after I order the same part. Just found mine to have a 2" long, hemmorage like rip caused by heat.

Mine (and all the rest, I guess) has 3 hoses that connect to the diverter. Which one were you referring to?

Please be sure to make your answer in the form of a question, please, LOL...a la Jeopardy.

According to these eBay ads, I guess it would either be a Air Hose Pipe Intake to Diverter, or a...

These parts are for a 1.8T, but don't mention Beetle specifically.

I just ordered mine from the dealer.

Search on some of the outlets that sell diverter valves or search these forums for recommendations.

Thanks everyone for all your help I had taped the old hose but still had a fan belt screeching kind of noise around 2800 rpms when accelerating. I got the new hose from the dealer and all noises went away and the car has much more power. It really is quite peppy now.
