Default 2&4 Misfire after spark plug replacement

I got vw nb 2003 turbo S 109k miles 6sp .
I got new Autolite-Xp-Iridium/Spark Plugs today and installed it. When I removed the coil packs id did not drop them. Right after I started to drive and engine check light started to flash and car drives like misfires.
it had misfire on 2 and 4 and no other codes. I removed and re installed 2 and 4 coils and check the cables. Still same problem. Do I need new coils?

Any ideas.

Thanks for your time

Off the top of my head I would say your NB is finicky; replace with OEM plugs and see what happens. All of my NB's act that way if I use any other plug, so I always use the stock plug. I have no idea why mine act that way, they just do ...

I swear...I get posts deleted or something. Definitely posted a reply last night, saying that it might not like the plugs. Try NGK or Bosch.

Ok I replaced coils on 2 and 4 with duralast C1394 and its working now. But I still have the old plugs in and I have 4 plugs that I don't know if I can return. What should I do? Put this ones in?
I think the coils were about to go and it has nothing to do with new plugs.
