Default Help with part Id?

Ok, so my wife ran over some things in a parking lot with her 2004 turbo beetle. Ended up have to jack it up and push it over to the side to get it off the spikes sticking up. Did some damage to the underside of the car. I need to know two things? is the dented pan in the pics the sump pan? Part number 01M321359 I think it is but want to be sure. 2nd, if it is dented in is it critical to replace or repair it? Also some other pics of the damage to the bottom. Any suggestions on repairing it or just seal it up and leave it? Thanks! Pics are attached!! 2 are the pan and the other is the damage to the bottom. I would appreciate any help!! Thanks!!!

Ouch! If it were me I would change the pan; plus there is no way to know for certain of any internal damage unless you take the pan off and take a look.

I agree with D2Beetle; you really need to replace the oil-pan and anything else in there that might have been damaged (such as the engine-oil pick-up tube).

That last photo looks like a portion of the floor-pan has been ripped open; this really needs to be assessed by a competent body/frame shop. This damage will likely require some welding, which would necessitate pulling most of the pertinent interior components in order to weld/repair without setting fire to the car...

Good Luck!
