No Problem. I was going to go APR since I have a great shop here in Indy that is an APR dealer and the owner Ian is on the APR race team and wins a lot of races. They told me that the APH ECM only has only half a meg of Ram on the very small EPROM chip whereas the later models had 1 meg or more on the chip. That's why with APR you will need a chip soldered onto the ECM and APR tuning also requires a larger 4bar FPR installed. So all in all it would have cost me close to $600 dollars to have the Stage 1 APR tune done where REVO was able to program the ECM within it's perimeters and for $399.
I am sure APR is a good choice but money is tight and I went with the least expensive option available to my car. Very happy with the results. I would check around in your area to see if there is a REVO authorized dealer nearby. They will give you a Test Tune that will last for 6 or 10 hours of actual drive time (Not total time) That way you can see for yourself what difference it will make. It's free so why not.
