Question Idle question

Hello all,Just a question .Took the wife's nb in last week for the replacement of the bad air pump and to get a new battery. So now i see when it is cold out like here 4 with wind chill of -17 i start her bug and no per say high idle no more when car is cold?? Could it be that when they put the new interstate battery in and the new air pump the throttle body need's to be re-alignment??? I have no cel car runs great ,just no warm up idle used to idle at 1,100 and then drop to the normal 900 rpm when warm.

You can try and clean the Throttlebody and see if that will help with your idle. Also make sure that your MAF sensor is hooked up. Perhaps they forgot to plug it back in after they installed those other parts.
A throttlebody adaption can be made via a VAg Com/VCDS software but really shouldn't be necessary. I would check the connections and clean your Throttlebody and go from there.
If your Throttlebody is really oily or dirty your PCV valve most likely needs to be replaced.
