02 Turbo S P1296
I have this code again after less then a year. I replaced the coolant temp sensor last year and the code went away. Now it is back again. Could my sensor be bad again already? I have seen reference to another place closer to the front of the car (same hose), people say it has a plug in it but mine has a sensor. Could this be the cause of my code? A few time it seamed to take longer for the blue light to go off. I was also thinking I may have an open thermostat.
Thanks for any help you can provide also what is the cheapest VAG-COM setup?

Its either the CTS or thermostat most likely.
