Stupid me....
I didn't watch the weather report and washed my car. That night it got cold and dropped to 29 degrees and frozen my automatic spoiler. I left for work at 5:45 am and heard a loud grinding noise and a big thrunk. I got home that night and only the left side pops up. I spray lubed the crap out of the hinge area and got the other side up. Now, ever time it deploys, it makes a loud grinding noise. Any ideas how to fix this, or at least disable it until I have time to tear it apart.

Thanks. It is driving me crazy hearing that thing scream at me. I'm working 2 jobs right now and don't have time to fix it.
