Default Do Borla make an Exhaust for my Beetle?

Hi there

I'm looking at exhaust systems for my beetle and one of my friends who has a corvette says you cant go wrong with Borla, do any of you know if they make one for a 1.8t New Beetle?

Any ideas on the part number?

Cheers evvo

Borla MIGHT make a cat-back, but that's about it.

Check out http://techtonicstuning.com/ They make a full turbo-back system, and use a Borla muffler.

I bought this exhaust off the Borla website for like $389.00. It is a 2.25" SS cat-back. Sounds Awesome.

Borla's exhaust is only 2.25" and a cat-back. It'll make power, but you can make more with a full 2.5" turbo-back.

Buy a Techtonics Tuning 2.5" Turbo-Back exhaust with the Borla muffler from Pete @ thescirocco.com (THE best TT prices) I ordered my TT exhaust from him and it came very quickly. The exhaust also fits very well, sounds great and makes power.

TT and done

I just scratch built a 3" turbo back for my 02' gls. not sure how it sounds though. Waiting for my ECM to return to me. Figured while I had It out I'd do the exhaust too. I used a resonator from my friends 01' dodge ram diesel. It's a 3" inlet 4" outlet. thick SS walled. It's probably going to be too loud but I wont know till wed. I'll add a nice 3" core ceramic pack muffler if I want to mellow it out. The Exhaust cost me like $120 in parts. 4" outlet lookes wicked. It wasn;t quite done in the pics either.
I've cleaned it up some more.

Who cares, everybody understood it anyway.

I think you should go with some 2.5 Turbo back if you want to make some actual power, and if you are going mostly for sound then Borla or Magnaflow Cat-Back would be perfect!

We went for it and brought the Borla Exhaust for £57 ($98) inc postage I contacted Borla directly and confirmed it will fit

In the UK were not aloud to go turbo back if the car is over 3 years old as it would fail on emmissions But the Borla should sound sweet and give some gains, we might have a sports cat fitted to go with it and give it better gains.

We also went to a local specialist Awesome GTI had a K&N drop in filter put in and they put at 6 hour APR remap on the car to give us an idea of what it's going to be like when we have it tuned

Thanks for the advice
