Car wash and check engine light?
Every single time I go to the car wash my Check Engine Light comes on -- on the way home or even as I'm leaving the parking lot. The car drives as usual, does anyone elses car do this and do you know what causes it?

are these touchless or standard washes? Perhaps your car is picky and only likes touchless!
 Honestly, this is really a strange(???) concidence, the CEL goes off after a period of time, I take it? And comes back on after the car gets wet? Rain too?

Well it always goes off the next day. Another weird thing, it can rain all day and the light never comes on. Something about the car wash has to be making it come on I think. Its the kind of car wash where you wash it yourself. Maybe when I'm washing the tires some water gets under the hood and irritates soemthing??
