Help !! Can't open trunk
I have a 2003 New Beetle; the rear trunk is closed but the indicator on the dash says it's open (small bug light up). For that, I cannot open the rear trunk. Is something wrong with the unlocking mechanism or is it an electrical short circuit? This happened after it rained; could water flow inside the trunk lid (plastic interior) via third brake light and spoil the mechanism (electrical?)
