Default I need timing belt mechanic st louis area 2002 1.9 tdi

I have bought the timing belt kit with water pump and rollers for (280.00) from ebay. I will probably have oilhammer(300.00) install it. He was working out of his house and then went to working out of car docs(425.00) Now I am wondering if their are any other mechanics in St Louis area that can reliably install the timing belt kit?
Thanks
From Tom in Glen Carbon, IL near St Louis, MO

I got on to here by googling that head light changing info.
"How To" replace your head light bulbs.
That was great!

Oilhammer, you already found him. he is in St louis and is the only one in the area I would go to.

he will do you right. You wont get better service for your money without a long trip. well worth the cost. just make sure he knows what parts you are providing.

not sure what you mean by...
"...then went to working out of car docs(425.00)..."

I'm pretty new here, but Oilhammer is on my short list.
Seems like I saw something about him "recently" moving
to a new shop out near Six Flags. (Sullivan?)

Default What I meant was.

Oilhammer was going to replace the timing belt at his house for 300.00. Then he said he was only working out of a shop near Westport. It is called Car Docs. I called them and they said it would be 425.00. I also called the stealership in Ofallon IL and they said it would be 525.00. I will probably end up taking it to oilhammer.
Thanks for the reply.
