Default Bosch Injector Timing

I recently installed new(bigger) injectors in my TDI. I also have the upsolute stage II software upgrade. I need to find out where to go to get my injectors calibrated/timed correctely. Anyone know where to go? or who does that?

Are you asking about the pump timing? Or setting the pop over pressure? If you want to get the injectors set up for the correct pressure, Greg can't be beat. He also sells the correct parts kit for installing the injectors.
If pump timing is what you need, Vag-com is about the best way to get that set correctly.

Propane is for pikers. For easer power just dump in a couple of gallons of DME (DiMethalEther) It has a cetane of over 90.

pop over pressure is what i need. I don't think they're correctly set. I'm also looking for someone who could do it locally to me, Charlotte, NC.

(DiMethalEther)? what is this? where can it be found? is it safe? does it work?

Bosh shops near you would be:

Truckpro of Charlotte
2330 Tipton Dr., Suite 700
Charlotte, NC 28206
Phone: (704) 596-6010
Fax: (704) 596-2761

Engine Power Source, Inc.
220 Olympic Street
Charlotte, NC 28273
Phone: (704) 944-1999
Fax: (704) 944-1956

Both have factory trained people to work on your injectors.

DME is a hit or miss sort of fuel. It is not as yet well known or available.
First a little background on it. It has the chemical graph C-O-C. It is a good fuel to add to diesel because it has extra carbon for more heat, and it has its own oxygen. Sort of like adding NOS for more power.

It is a synthetic fuel, with minimal sulfur and other impurities. It is made from natural gas, coal, and other carbon based fuels. All this means is that is burns clean in the motor, and produces good power. Because it burns cleanly, the oil stays cleaner longer, and less gunk builds up inside the motor.

The fuel can be burned either by itself, or added to the existing fuel. The neat thing about DME is that it can also be burned in a gas motor like natural gas when converted into a gases state. And, the best part, it is projected that it will only cost about a dollar per gallon to make when large scale production comes online.

wow, thanks for all the information. Was having trouble googling the bosch dealers and getting any info.

Hope that DME comes out sometime soon. I wouldn't mind an overall cleaner/beastlier(haha) fuel.

Thanks again!!

Dimethyl Ether is not liquid at room temp.
It would be like adding butane to gasoline.
DME is a gas, above 12 degrees F.
At least butane boils at about the freezing point of water.
Add this to fuel and your looking at volitile fuel. You would have to have some kind of closed fuel system under pressure or use some kind of gas engine fuel vapor control system.
So TDI's don't like propane. I read about it making them act jerky, people must be trying to use to much or could be that engine displacement must be to small and weight of the car is so small? Sounds like to much propane to me.
