Default No click off during fill up?? Help!

I filled up with B20 today. I've been using the same B20(even the same pump) for the last 7 or 8 fillups. Absolutely no issues. As the tank was getting full, I start waiting for the click - nothing and the diesel started spilling out before I stopped it!! I didn't let any get onto the paint though Then I vented as usual, but it was kind of tricky because it never wanted to stop. I made sure I wasn't accidentally pushing the vent button with the nozzle and I wasn't. So why would it not click off? I've never had this happen before. Please tell me this is an easy and cheap fix!!

The problem is with the filler nozzle. Nothing to do with your car. Just tell the filling station attendant that he needs to get the automatic shut off fixed on that pump. Otherwise, consider using a different pump next time.

That is a common problem with any pump if they do not service the filters on a regular basis. The pump works off of pressure but with a dirty filter the flow rate is too slow and cannot build the proper pressure and will not shut off on it's own. This is the #1 cause for fuel spills a gas stations , not topping off the tank.
