Hey fellow TDI buggers,
I have a tip when you're replacing your fuel filter on your ALH motor NB ('98- '03 ). I recommend you follow MOGolf's how-to video on www.tdiclub.com, to the "T". Forget about pouring fuel into the top to prime. This works like crap for me. Pay particular attention to clamping off the 2 fuel lines: fuel-supply-from-tank and fuel-supply-to-injection pump. Any air sucked back into the pump and fuel injection lines will result in serious hard starting. Get the Mityvac hand vacuum pump to attach to the fuel-to-IP fitting of the new filter, just like MOGolf does in the video. good luck |
