Not as hard as you would think. I just did mine. When you open the hood look, on the driver's side, just in front of the battery box and you'll see a 3/16" allen stud. You may need a flashlight. Printed on the headlight housing you'll see a lock/unlock picture with a directional arrow. Get a nut driver and turn the allen stud a half turn in the "unlock" direction. It's clearly marked. Once you do this, take your hand and gently tap the outside of the headlight assembly. It will loosen up. Pull the headlight assembly out about an inch and it will stop. Now, get a paint stick or something like it. Look between the battery box and the air filter. You'll see a silver level. Push down and hold the silver lever. It doesn't take much pressure at all. Once you are holding this down, pull out teh headlight assembly. You may want an extra pair of hands to do this.
You will need to remove the air filter cover and the battery cover. This is fairly straigh forward. Just be patient and don't break any of the little parts.
Good luck!
