Default power steering pipe

Just had new power steering pipe done, and I think it's loose. I want to check it's definitely the right pipe before chinning the garage but don't have an engine diagram. Can anyone provide one on a photograph, and perhaps point it out to me?

Your post is kind of cryptic and does not give us much info to go off of.

What makes you think its loose? The power steering line goes from the pump, along the front of the engine, over the transmission, and then back to the rack. It is a pain in the arse to get at and usually makes mechanics hate life. If you are getting leaks, make sure they replaced the crush washers that seal the connections. If they were reused it will leak.

Thanks. I'll take a photo and post it, just to highlight the bit to make sure it's the same pipe. Will do this tomorrow as it's the earliest I can manage.

Here are pictures of the pipe in question. In the bottom photo you can see the bit that's loose.

Question is, is this the power steering pipe?

no, thats the upper BOOST pipe with "crackpipe" connection for your intake.

you need a "Doggie Collar" for $40 to hold it against the intake manifold so you do not leak boost anymore.

that or you need to spend $$bignum$$ to replace the hose.

PM User JasonTDI on tdiclub.com to get yourself one of the doggie collars.
