Yes. Hidden Hitch makes one. They are not that hard to put on.

This should answer your question and any others about towing capacity.

I wouldn't push it much further than that though.

I got mine from these guys last summer - I did the DrawTite one because it has extra support. Pulled a 4x8 uhaul to Roswell and back to Dallas for the Roswell Show.

Turbo S is the specific model. Your's is not for two reasons, there was no '05 Turbo S, and they weren't TDIs.

Yes...any of those will work fine as your car is not a Turbo S. Your car has a turbo, but is not a Turbo S.

FYI: Turbo S cars were tuned-up 1.8T gas engine models with a 6 speed transmission, different bumpers, wheels and interior parts.

The next question you are sure to have is about the Wiring Harness...you can reference this thread on that one.

Trailer Wiring Question....

with the hidden hitch you only need to drill ONE hole in the trunk area. the rest bolt to the body very easily. I had a 04 NBC with a hitch and pulled a small popup camper, small 4x8 trailer and towed home a 66 beetle behind it .

And most importantly, pull your spare out before you start drilling.

I lost a brand new tire this way.

Oopsie Yeah getting the spare tire out of a NBC trunk is a major PITA let alone trying to tighten the bolts while your stuffed half in the trunk

Is this really what the Draw-Tite hitch looks-like?

Does it have a support bar that runs perpendicular to the bumper and goes below the spare-tire well?

I like the Hidden-Hitch's tubular design, but I'm concerned that it will start to sag since all its supports are located on the same plane as the bumper.

Yes, that is the Draw-Tite Sportframe. Have it on our '98. I think the hitches without the spare tire well braces are ok for bike racks, but I think that if you are going to do any trailer towing you should have a hitch with the extra support/brace.

Yep, that's the one I have also...with the extra couple supports that bolt through the spare tire well.

I agree with Bugstuff...if you are planning on pulling a trailer, that's the one to get.

I can that a shot of mine installed if you want to see the clearance.
