Finally got her on the road running close to right. Up next is injectors, but right now i'm saving money to get back to school so that's on the back burner. For now i'm fairly satisfied with a chip and this turbo, the previous owner says there's some type of injectors in it, but i have no idea what kind? Only pushing about 15psi and EGTs are still below the safe level with a modified stock exhaust. Got my first race last night with an Aurora and pulled it nicely, lol. I was pretty disappointed until i learned they have a northstar based engine and run a 15.1 1/4.

P.S. i love rap music, so if you're easily offended by profanity, don't watch this.

Rocket Chip? Nah, there's a guy called VWMikeL that does tunes on TDIClub, i went through him.

Yeah, it feels weird seeing the needle buried and a little scary on the stock injection pump. It's just starting to make power at redline though, lol.

I am SOooo totally in LOVE with your car. I am REALLY excited to see how it turns out with new injectors. I am sure you had some expert advice from those guys over there on the TDIClub forum.

NICE!

Nah, they all told me don't use a wastegate turbo and it's way too big for my car.

F that i did my own thing with this car, i've never heard of anyone using the manifold or turbo that i did, but it worked out better than i thought it would. The exhaust is just the factory downpipe modified to a non louvered glasspack inplace of the muffler. I'll eventually get that redone with a 3", but this exhaust was practically free to get me going(i have a welder).

i'm running a holset hy35 on my tdi, i'm sure the haters would come out on that, but it's my car.

right now, i have rc3, pp520s, 11mm pump, and 3" downpipe...and i'm scary close to 350 lb/ft of torque at 18psi.

i heard mike does tunes, but jeff gives me a good rate having bought almost 10 tunes from him over the years. i'll be upgrading to rc6 soon just to see what she'll do, but right now, i'm enjoying spinning rubber at 65 in 5th.

i also used the 8v manifold as well, worked like a charm.

the guys at tdi club would say we're doing it wrong, but i invite them all for a ride in my car and tell me when's the last time a vnt 17/22 made that kind of power.

I'm debating the 11mm pump, but i hate to get in to the timing belt since it was just done before i bought the car. People are using the 8v manifolds, but i just used the eBay one, i was scared of firewall clearance and no one could answer me if it'd hit...so i tried it anyway and have maybe an inch of clearance.

Specs on the turbo? I'm not sure, i bought it from a friend used and cheap. Just know it's a T3/TO4E?

Sorry for the long delay, i have a Votex/Turbo S bumper. I used the smallest intercooler i could find with only 2" charge pipes...it was a squeeze, a tight one.
