Okay TDI folks...WTF is this for?
I searched quickly at TDI club and didn't see any post jump out at me. Great price...but what does it do...do I need it

That is for the 04-06 BEW engine. Its a stock part that is prone to failure, there was a recall on them. The 98-03 ALH had an EGR cooler as well, but it is far different. I got rid of all that junk myself.

good to know. lol EGR is soon to go in mine now.
 Was waiting for the manual tranny...and now..the EGR will go "bye-bye"
