Suspect that we will be having a Mastercard meltdown soon.
Also any source for the oil spec for a 2006 New Beetle TDI? Dealer is only source in Tampa, FL and it's $8 bucks a quart!
Thanks.

Skid plate:
VW TDI timing belts, aluminum VW skid plates, VW short shift kits, VW G60 clutch, and Race Pipes by www.dieselgeek.com
cooling fan:
www.idparts.com
headlight housings: ebay (aftermarket)
"VW Parts" - "Volkswagen Parts" - Parts and Accessories Catalog. (OEM)
CV joints: Depends. Is a boot just torn or is it clicking/worn out? If the boot is just torn, get a boot kit from
www.idparts.com
If the joint is actually bad (which I doubt would be the case with a 2006 unless it has run with a bad boot for many years) your best bet would be a junkyard. Aftermarket axles are junk. OEM axles are $$$...$700 each I think?
Motor oil: If it were my car, I would just run Mobil 1 TDT 5w-40 or the Mobil 1 ESP 5w-40 Formula M (MB spec). Both of these are excellent oils that are proving to be superior to any of the 505.01 VW spec oils. If you insist on 505.01 only, go with one of the 5w-40 flavors available at
www.idparts.com as the 5w-30 oils just are not capable of providing adequate wear protection to the cam and lifters.
