Hello everybody, pleased to register in such positive community.
Could you advise if New Beetle 1.9 TDI were with manual 6-speed gearbox.
If not may be someone knows the model who fits this engine.

As far as I know, ALH engines only came with a 5spd. It can be UPGRADED to a 6spd if you're willing to pay that price. Might want to also check out tdiclub.com there is a lot of good information over there as well.

The only New Beetles ever sold with a 6-speed manual were the Turbo S cars, which were 1.8Ts.

The 2003-2006 Beetles were BEW, but they were offered with a 6speed DSG twin cluch "automatic" gearbox.

But as smileybug and michelleroze mentioned, you can only get the ALH TDI (1998-2003) with a 5speed manual transmission (or super risky 4speed automatic)
