Default BEW issue

Getting reccuring code P0183 fuel temp sensor short to power. Replaced the sensor, wiring, and ecm and still reccurs. Normal restiance in the wiring, no shorts found. Sensor does read correctly. Any ideas???

Have you scanned it with VCDS to get the actual VAG specific code? Generic OBD codes do not tell the whole story.

Check the connection at the coolant resevoir. Sometime water migrates into that connection and can cause all kind of electrical problems......There is a coolant migration mod that some do to drain any water that might get in. Do a search on the TDI Club and see how the mod is done if interested. Just a thought on that connection. Vag Com would tell you the problem.
