Question MAP Sensor on 2000 W Beetle?

THe Beetle is throwing code P1155 which is for the MAP Sensor. Problem is I can not figure out where the darn sensor is located. Any help would be great!! Thanks

the map sensor is usually on top the intercooler. check there. hope that helps.

Get VCDS on it and do some logs, generic P codes are worthless for this. These sensors don't fail very often, you probably have some other boost control issue; bad actuator, vacuum line, sticky VNT.

IF, and thats a BIG if, its the MAP sensor...its on top of the intercooler. I can't remember if you can get at it by taking off the fender liner or not. If not, then the front bumper and fenders have to come off.

But like I said, get VCDS on it to see what the problem actually is.
