Cooling fan not working
2003 Beetle with 140k miles. I tried using a jumper on the fan control switch and it wont turn on fans. I ran a wire straight to the fan plug and still they dont work. I have checked fuse in the box under hood. Both fans not working. I believe the FCM would not stop fan from runing so since fan didn't go with direct power must both have gone bad. I found a few places online that sell the fan for 125 dollars much less than Discount auto parts and Autozone which both want 400. Should I buy a fan and try it or could something else be wrong???
