Default Replaced Ignition switch, now crank no start

I pulled the ignition switch and swapped it. Had to replace two connectors, the one that's common to get hot and the black on next to it due to damage pulling them from the old plug. Used a new black/pink plug, took a pic and made sure all wires were in their appropriate places. Go to start it and it cranks very well, all the dummy lights are on but no fire. Getting a glow plug light flashing on/off real quick. Any idea what I could have done?

My guess is the imobilizer needs to re-set with a vag-com.

There anyway to tell that when trying to start the car? Any lights/etc? The light with the bug/key symbol comes on and I think blinks a time or two.

Can someone explain the difference, if there is one between the lights indication that the immobilizer is active and if it just comes on during the cars diagnostic checks when first turning key to "on/run" position.

Ok, I've checked the ASV. All of the relevant fuses. I popped a fuel line off and it sprayed fuel when I cranked it. Getting a glow plug light when turning to "on" so that seems to rule out Relay 109. What else am I missing. It's evidently not the immobilizer because that evidently lets it start but then kills it very quickly, I've got a no fire.

Any ideas? The car has been in some state of broken down for 2 weeks now and I have no idea where to look. Is there a relay/fuse for the injectors? Everything seems to work except it won't start.
