Thats all i use on my car, otherwise i fret about waterspots...which are SATAN by the way!

I have never had a problem with mine and i've had it for almost a year and a half now. The filters i go through quickly, and they are NOT cheap, but i like to make sure my car is thoroughly cleaned with the filtered water.

Also on the sudsy part, make sure you have excellent water pressure otherwise it doesnt make the soap foam as much. When i was on a well i'd have to wait until i was the only thing using water or turn the water on and leave the handle thing off so it would build up pressure. Now that im on city water it works great! Make sure to put a lot of soap in your mit and also spray a good amount on there. It doesnt have to suds like crazy though, it still gets the chemicals on there to dry later, as you found out!
