NewBeetle.org currently does 1.9GB (around 60GB/month) of bandwidth traffic per day and uses just over 10GB of disk space. Of course, any hosting plan we'd choose should have plenty of room for growth.
For most of the hosting services I've looked into, this level of service would run between $200 and $300 per month. Currently, I'm paying about $30/month. We get about four new member sponsors per month, which translates to $60 or so.
I'd be happy to move NewBeetle.org to a more mission-critical style hosting service (instead of the most personal-site sort of hosting I'm doing now) -- but only if I know I can always pay the bill. I don't have extra money to put into this site out of my own pocket, and it's no longer possible to count on advertisers.
I understand you guys are frustrated, but there's a simple matter of personal finances at play here. I can't spend more money on this site than it brings in. Period.
