I don't profess to be much of a contortionist, so my approach is to apply the cleaning agent (I use 1 part white vinegar to 4 parts water) to the applicator, position myself to face the back seat, then arch backwards to apply pressure against the inside bottom of the windshield.

By the way, to clean those stubborn water spots and other apparent substances from the outside windows, I use "A-MAZ" water stain remover followed with an application of "Rain-X". From inside, it looks like you don't even have windows...
