Check this out guys. I was driving last Friday and everthing drives fine with no complaints at all. Then, CEL (check Engine Light) suddenly came up. I know I had this once but, before I was able to check and clear the error codes it suddenly cleared itself. Well, I just waited and reset the throttle thru ignition but did not clear out. I then reset the battery hoping it will go away but it did not. Hmmmm, I then realized that my gas is already empty so I went for a gas. When started the engine, no more CEL! What the hell was that? I then realized that I also did that on my previous incident since gas was also low. What could be the cause for the Check Engine light to activate when gas is low? Take note that this does not happen all the time when gas is almost empty.
