Labor Day MPG Report
Took a trip in my 2005 NBC this last weekend, and over the 4 days, 550 mile round trip, I averaged 29 MPG!! I was blown away by this, especially since the interstate was 80 mph plus, and at times the traffic was up to 95 mph!! My previous best mpg was 27 a year ago. I was tempted to see what 100 mph felt like, but chickened out. Seeing how well the car rode, 100 mph would be no differant than any other speed. Oh, and gas was $2.39 in Lebanon, MO!!
My two schnaunzers enjoyed sleeping in the back seat during the trip, with occasional trips to the front seat to sit on my hubby's lap and watch the traffic.
