Exclamation ABS,EPC and brake light on!

Hi

I am new to the forum. Must say you guys got excellent advice I recently bought my wife a 2001 2.0 Highline. Had mucho problems with the engine light, but replaced mass airflow sensor, and both lambda probes. After all that problem fixed. She calls me this afternoon, the ABS,ESP and brake lights are on and stays on I have searched the site, and found some info on the ABS and ESP, but not any about all three lights being on at the same time. Seems like there's always a light on in this car.... HaS anybody got any help??

Sorry, heading s/b ESP light!!!!

when you start engine again they go off?and then when you brake they turn on???i am afraid you've got to see it with a vag-com or else where because when i had esp+abs+barake light i replaced all esp-abs unit.not the pump...too many $ for a new one...

Done a full diagnosis, When I start the car the familiar beep sound, then the ABS, ESP light comes on and stays on, and the brake(handbrake) light comes on and flashes the whole time while driving. If I switch the car off and on again same thing! It was standing overnight, and this morning - same thing. They stay on and braking makes no difference - They are on the whole time. I have not had it for a vag com yet - (In South Africa this can only be done at the stealerships unfortunately) Any advice??

do you have all your headlights etc , blinkers wipers etc ?

my 99 just pulled a similar stunt and from what the experts are saying it may be the ignition switch , gonna tear mine apart in the morn

Yup, i got those 3 lights when my ignition harness melted, i was i think #2 on this forum that it happend to recently (first being desiron), and hten it seems to be happending to everyone else.

I'd do what jerry suggested, my wipers and headlights, and horn also didn't work. And it was the ignition switch.
