Default At my wits end!

Hey guys, please help. I have a CEL on, reading po1172, system too rich. I have cleaned the MAF, the o2 sensors are new, I can hear a hissing from my engine bay, changed vaccum hoses, and it's still hissing.

My car runs great, good performance and MPGs, I am just wanting to deal with this CEL. I'm wondering if it might need a new MAF, but I don't want to spend 100 bucks and that not be the problem, and the hissing noise is still there. Any help would be so appreciated!!

I don't want to take the car in, but I fear I might have to get this fixed.

Also, are you sure this is a recurring CEL, or has it just not cleared yet?

Thanks for the replys. I have cleared the codes and they come back on. I have changed two vaccum lines, and the one that if I pinch it stops hissing, changed that one, but it's still hissing. I'm having a hard time determining if that is where the leak actually is. Any thoughts? Were can I get a cheap MAF?

Cool

If you hear a definite hissing, you may want to take a short length of PVC (1/2" - 3/4" sprinkler type) and carefully place one end to your ear and hunt around with the other for the source of the hissing (be aware of fans and belts!)...
