Several stalls after starting
Recently I have had my 2000 2.0 stall or die right after starting it. Once was an easy restart, the other took several seconds (about 10) of cranking. This has never happened before and was wondering if it is a sign I need to change the fuel filter.
Also, the check engine light has come on and gone off twice in the past month for unknown reasons. I quickly stopped the car and checked the fluids, of which all were fine. I guess while I'm posting I should ask this as well. Anyone know what I will have to change on my beetle moving to Canada? And will the extended warranty I have on it be honored??!! Any suggestions? IceDog 2000 TechnoBlue 59,000 miles

mine did something like that and yes ther fuel filter fixed my problem....the check light well who knows you would have to ask the car and see what it says.....the codes should be stored if you do get it scanned
